Saturday's Critters #427

This tiny, home grown farm is one we pass all the time while out on our adventures.
I have often thought about stopping to take pictures but have been afraid of being chased,
or being accused of trespassing, as it feels a bit private.
But it is so cute, I just could not resist...
so I stopped

Two sweet little homes...

for two adorable Billy Goats,

and a Donkey as well.

The three live happily together.

I want to come back at night,
to see these colorful lights and all of the clear lights on the farm illuminated.
There were a lot of chickens, roosters and ducks waddling about.

This cute little farm was set up on the side yard of the peoples home.
It is on a main road, but the house has neighbors on both sides.

- live like someone left the gate open -

Sharing today's images with Eileen at
for Saturday Critters

Reminds me in a way of the old BBC show "Good Neighbors" where the Goods turned their property into a self sustained unit. Neighbors didn't like it, but it worked (in a way). This little farm is really cute and well done. My daughter would do this with her property in the hill country.

Hello Debbie, Great accommodation for these farm animals. The houses are cute, and so are the sweet faced goats and donkey, and the goats even have ramps to climb. I'm glad you decided to stop, to share a few photos with us.:=)

The goat pens and shelters down here at Dean and Sherry's do not look like this neat and tidy place at all! I love how the place you saw have it looking so clean and well maintained! Wish it looked like that here....

That's very cool! They definitely put some effort into that as opposed to just putting up a fence.

Oh adorable -- miniature animals are wonderful and there really is just something so special about goats. I can't imagine the owners would object to anyone taking pictures -- their little farmette just cries out for people to stop!!! They are lucky to live in a place where it is OK to keep animals.
