A Beautiful Mockingbird Drenched In Sunlight

On a recent spin around Lake of the Lilies,
this beautiful Mocking Bird landed on this fence post, less than 5 feet from the car.
We were both drenched in sunlight as we shared a brief few moments together before it flew off.

The Robins carpeted the ground as if spring were in the air.

- a bird sitting on a tree is never afraid of the branch breaking, because it's trust is not on the branch,
but on it's own wings -

We have robins here all winter this year, which is so unusual. I have never seen a mocking bird. Thank you for sharing, Debbie. Have a great day.

Hi Debbie, :=) What a piece of good luck that the beautiful Mocking bird perched so near to you which enabled you to capture these lovely shots. The Robin is no less lovely in the sun.

Wow Debbie! I think you have some bird whisperer talent in you. That's so close. Pretty robin is giving us a ray that spring will come. I saw a confused robin on the lawn today. It was 60 degrees in K.C., but we're supposed to get 5-8" snow Thursday. The humans are confused too! Linda in Kansas

Hi Debbie, I love the bird pictures. I am so ready for robins, they are a spring sign here. I have heard mocking birds but they do not seem to be around our area. I love them. Hope you are doing well. Blessings to you and yours, xoxo, Susie
