Saturday Critters ~ 377 ~

These pictures are from way back in the day.
I found them as I was organizing the pictures on my computer,
something I always seem to be doing.

You can follow the story through the pictures.
Two "tween" Blue Jays, quiet as can be, hanging in the bird bath, waiting for mom.
Once she returned, they perked up, and opened up, looking for their meal.
She didn't have anything for them and their disappointment is evident.

- when mom returns -

And checkout mom's expression, "what in the world did I get myself in to",
and "when will this be over"?

And this next Blue Jay...

It was a little too warm outside for this drama queen Blue Jay,
who ended up in the bird bath after I freshened the water.

These pictures are so old and the quality of these images is poor.
But I was so excited when I found them as I remembered taking them with my old camera,
back in the day in 2012.

Woooow!
A wonderful photo series. I admire the playful birds.
Bird hairstyles are the real pinnacle of fashion.
Have a nice weekend, Debbie:)

Love, love these photos. Aren’t those demanding little creatures the cutest, though hardest looking little creatures you’ve ever seen? Perfect. Wonderful captures!

Debbie, These are all precious photos, capturing the mood of the young ones and poor mom, and both your captions and photos are well done.
