I am so excited to share the fact that I am considered a big shot...
I received my second dose of the Pfizer Vaccine,
in 2 weeks I should be fairly free to go.
Free to go "most", not all, of the places I use to go!
I received both of my vaccine shots at CentraState Hospital,
There was so much excitement and encouragement
as I sat in the observation area.
it was such a humbling experience.
This virus is bigger than all of us, I am so grateful
to have been given the opportunity to combat it.
Life will not return to "normal", I will still do all of the necessary things...
but I will be able to be with vaccinated people,
- maybe even hug them -
and boy am I looking forward to that!

Great for you...I get my first tomorrow. YAY....I battled back and forth with do I get, do I not get...but losing a classmate a couple weeks ago that was healthy to it I decided I needed to do this. I stay so fatigued and no energy that I figure that I would not have the energy to fight it off if I got it. Awesome job.

I am glad you have been vaccinated. We are still waiting to get a shot here, it seems they do not have enough doses yet.
It will be nice to be around people and feel normal again. Take care, enjoy your day!
YEAH!!!!! I am waiting to reach eligibility for the vaccine. I was told that possibly by early April.

Debbie - YAY! So happy for you! We have many friends who have been vaccinated and they all express such feelings - euphoria, relief, joy. We look forward to joining your ranks!
Congratulations Debbie! That’s awesome! We will be receiving our second shot soon. Like you I am looking forward to hugging again.
We have been lucky enough to receive our first shots and are looking forward to seeing family in July, so thankful they were able to get these shots to us a year after all this started.
So glad you got your shots, Debbie. It sure does take away some of the anxiety! What a year! We get our 1st shot the end of the month. Who would ever think we would be so happy to get a shot? haha! Hugs xo Karen

I'm so happy that you got your second shot of vaccine. I consider it all a medical miracle that they were able to get this done. This virus has been a scary one for sure. We just got our second shot of the Moderna. We were so excited to get it too. We were able to do a drive through for ours. We will be two weeks on Monday. I am looking forward to some hugs.
