Looking Up

Yesterday, here at the Jersey shore, the clouds were amazing,
I wish I had taken more pictures.
We went for a walk on the boardwalk, Ocean Grove to Asbury Park,
and every so often you would feel the slightest sprinkle of rain.

The beaches were not as crowded as they usually are.
The clouds definitely kept people away,
still the lifeguards were on duty, and there were people swimming.
Yellow flags were posted, you were allowed in the water...
with caution, I guess the water was rough and perhaps there were rip currents.

Murals are everywhere in Asbury Park, the one pictured here is part of the
Wooden Walls Project
How fun it was to see someone in the middle of painting, this mural is almost done and quite beautiful.
Next time I visit Asbury, perhaps I will photograph the murals that are a part of this project.

- without dark clouds in our lives, we would never know the joy of sunshine -

I do enjoy the sky images, dramatic skies are cool to watch.
The second photo is a favorite, pretty mural.
Take care, enjoy your day!

Wow those were some pretty dramatic clouds for sure, looks like a pretty empty beach that is for sure.
It is amazing how they can paint those so up close but to look good far away.

Beautiful beach shots!! I remember those drift fences from when we visited the East Coast -- so picturesque and not something we see over here on this coast (we're in Oregon now).
