Seas The Day

Wednesday was super warm here at the Jersey Shore,
~ 55 degrees ~
When I opened the windows at home the air felt awesome, almost summer like.
I really wanted to go to the beach and convinced the hubs to take me.

We cannot get on the beaches in Bay Head where we usually go because of all of the erosion.
Instead we went to Point Pleasant Beach by the inlet and those beaches were open.
The ocean was so blue, and at the shoreline,
where the waves were breaking, the water was a beautiful shade of turquoise.

It was windy and cold, but still, I was so happy to be here.

There were 2 wind surfers on the other side of the inlet,
it was a great day for it!

Life takes you down many paths, but the best ones lead to the beach!

Love your pictures. I live in land locked Kansas and have never seen the ocean.

I so agree there is no better place to be! I love the Jersey shore beaches and we have often visited Sandy Hook in the off season. On the Island here our shores are rocky and raw, covered in seaweed. A different kind of beauty though. The ocean looks as cold as it is! 💖

Hello Debbie,:=) Lovely pictures, I can almost feel the cold wind on my face, and smell that fresh sea air. It always makes me feel happy too when I visit the beach, which is only a 20 mins drive away. It makes you feel so alive.

Wow, so happy you could have this sweet day at the beach. The photos are beautiful and it lifted my heart, since it's pretty dreary here.
Blessings and hugs!

hi ruth...have i ever shared my feelings on the shrimp box? we went once, and our meal was not good and our food was cold. we went back a second time, because all of our friends love it, and we just did not enjoy it. i would love to know what you order there...and why you love it so much!!!

Hi Deb! I have never had a bad meal at Shrimp Box. I usually get lobster. I am sorry you had a bad experience. We used to come down from up north before we moved here 20 years ago and any time we had visitors we took them there.
