Raising and Releasing Butterflies

Some butterflies emerge and are ready to fly...

others need a little more time,
I am always available for whatever they need.
Yesterday, I released 2...
it is quite heartwarming and satisfying to see them fly off.
I had 52 chrysalis at the start of spring, I have released 16 so far.

I have lots of baby bunnies hopping around the yard.
It is impossible to get a good picture, they are always moving and playing with each other.
I am sharing this terrible picture as I feel I will never get a good one before they are grown.

The weather was beautiful last evening so we went to
Shore Fresh
for dinner and we were able to eat at an outside table.
The fried shrimp are large, fresh, lightly breaded and delicious.
The french fries are fresh cut.

I went for my first bike ride of the season a few evenings ago, on my
Bluebird of Happiness
all went well, no falls, life is good!

It is nice the butterflies are leaving a little at a time :)
That bunny is too cute, like his little spot of white.
We haven't ate out at a restaurant yet but if we do it will have to be outside first that's for sure, hubby loves shrimp he would enjoy this meal.

A yard full of bunnies! Lucky you to have so much cuteness in your back yard.

Oh, I'd love to have bunnies in our yard... of course with the cats, that's not an option. But that bunny face is too cute!
And as I've mentioned before, releasing butterflies is a truly magical event. I released one years ago on the morning of my surgery ... and knew everything was going to be alright.
