Black Beauties

During a spin around Lake of the Lilies,
I was able to capture a few images of a couple of pretty
Black-Birds

Red-Winged Blackbird

Crow

This might be a Juvenile Double-Crested Cormorant

Have a wonderful day!

The photos of the Red-Winged Blackbird and Crow are fabulous. I didn't even know there is a bird named Juvenile Double-Crested Cormorant> I have learned so much about birds from you!
Blessings and hugs!

These are birds I see just about every day on the boardwalk. Love them.

Great pictures. It is hard getting good pictures of black birds, but you showed that it can be done.

We have lots of blackbirds, but rarely see crows which is weird. Someone is doing a bit of wing drying!

what is the last one standing on, it's like he is trying to hold it down :)
Right now we have blackbirds and Starlings coming to the suet and taking big chunks out, boy that makes me mad, especially when they drop half of it.

More great photos. I love catching up with your trips around the lake.

the hubs thinks it is a water aerator, laying on it's side, that no longer works. it is always in that position/always looks like that, whether or not a bird is on it!!

I too wondered what the last one was standing in, I've just read your explanation to Connie :)

Great photographs Debbie.

All the best Jan
