Valentine's Day

Around my house, every day is Valentines Day,
so we I decided to make this one a little different than our usual nights out.
We dressed up a little and went out on a real date,
like we would have done before we got so comfortable together.
We had "nice" conversations, the hubs opened the car door for me -
and in general, we "behaved" and it was fun.

We went to our favorite restaurant,

and ate our favorite meal.

These pretty roses were on the table...

and this was the view.

We just share cards as there is not a thing I need or want.

Although I did order a tin of candy for the hubs, he LOVES chocolate.
Let me introduce you to "the dangerous stuff" by the
Creamy toffee, milk chocolate, white chocolate and nuts,
it is simply amazing.
I gave it to him Tuesday after dinner, today is Friday and two thirds of it are gone.
They sure knew what they were doing when they decided to call it

Everyday, and especially on weekends, you always delight us with your cheerful outlook on life and the wonderful, and informative places (besides gorgeous) places you both visit! Thank goodness for our blogging experience here, because out in the real world, it's really getting scary!

Our celebrations are about as low key as your, maybe even more so because we go out for breakfast, not dinner. :)

Sounds like a perfect night out, from start to finish. We are pretty laid back here...after forty years we don't need much excitement! LOL! Although I do love to go out to eat. Not giving that up!

Oh WOW--that VIEW!!! I'm jealous! It takes at least eight hours to get to the beach from where I live, although there are lakeside restaurants here. Still, there's nothing like the beach. And that food looks delicious!

Aw! Love this! The perfect way to spend Valentine's day. Love that you gave him the chocolates, too. That's how it is here - he eats them all and I get the pretty box. Haha! That view from your table was so nice. xx K
