It's February - It's Spring!!

It feels like Spring - it sounds like Spring, do you know what I mean?
The sounds of Spring are very distinctive.
The birds sing a little sweeter, the breeze is a little softer...
dogs are barking and children are playing outdoors...
our bikes are out and I remember how it sounds when the tires roll along the pavement.

We were out for a ride in Allaire State Park when we stumbled upon this chalk art.
We stopped for a rest and so I could take a few pictures.

When I turned around...

I saw the hubs doing this.
He had found a piece of chalk the artists had left behind.

He makes my heart smile every, single day!!

I think I am going to buy me some chalk, this looks like it would be really fun!

It actually felt spring-like here for a few days, although everything is relative, and you might have disagreed had you been here. :)

so nice to see the two of you too!!! I remember working with colored chalk on sidewalk as a little girl, what fun. and what fun to revisit things like this again, as an adult. it helps to keep us young. remember double dutch!!! ? that is something else I remember about sidewalks and sunny days. :-)

What fun chalk drawings you found and how sweet of Chuck to add your names. You two always have such a good time. Coleen loves drawing on our driveway with chalks. Although we had snow here today (again) so not good weather for chalk drawing.

That's some darn good printing, especially on asphalt! LOL! Spring is coming early assuming we don't get clobbered with some late winter stuff...which has happened.

I do hope it's spring, but part of me remembers many months of March from the past. Chuck is so sweet! I'd be sure he has a box of chalk at all times.

I love that chalk art! (Your sweet husband's especially). Too fun. I borrowed our great-grandsons' chalk when we were in Oregon last summer -- it really is great fun.
