Branch Brook Park

We learned several years ago, that you do not have to travel to Washington, D.C.
to see thousands of Cherry Blossom Trees in the spring.
has the largest, most diverse collection of
Japanese Flowering Cherry Blossoms trees in the United States with 18 varieties, 5,300 trees in all.

We visited yesterday, I have never seen a bluer sky, or a more radiant sun...
the temperatures were cool but enjoyable, we were not cold.
The bloom meter at the park was at peak and can I tell you I have never seen a more beautiful display of
Cherry Blossom Trees

Branch Brook Park is huge,
the trees are spread out over a large area with clusters of trees in so many places.
What's really nice, there are parts of the park,
away from the visitors center, where there are only a few people.
In Washington, there is no place to park and people viewing the trees are shoulder to shoulder.

So enough with all of that, let me show you the good stuff, the pictures!

I may share more tomorrow, I took a lot of pictures!

Cherry Blossom Trees are my favorite, mainly because they're my wife's favorite and I love her reaction anytime she sees one. Please share more, I can't wait to show her your photos! Thank you for making us smile:)

Oh my it looks like it was the perfect day to get lovely pics of the trees, just beautiful, so nice you didn't have to travel far for it. There are a lot of them over in the Botanical Garden in St. Louis, we use to go over there every year but the last few years we have passed, don't like going over there anymore.

Hello,
The cherry blossom trees are gorgeous. A beautiful collection of photos. Cute photo of you and your hubby! We went once to see the trees in DC, it was way too crowded for me. Take care, have a great day!

Although, I have been to see the DC cherry blossoms, it’s been a future destination and all the years we lived in NJ, I never knew about this park, Debbie. We won’t be visiting our home state before they are gone this year, but it’s now on my list for a future trip. What a beautiful display you have shared on a perfect day😀
