COVID, Really?!?!

I sat down to write this post and it started with this...
"Things here are good, quiet, but in a good way".
"I continue to roll around the house, I am walking some too, doing more and more each day".
I thought I had a really nasty cold,
I went for a Covid - 19 test, you know, just in case...
Then I got a phone call on Sunday, I tested positive.
I am vaccinated, I don't go anywhere...and here I am, feeling pretty sick.
And I have to say, there is not another person on earth who is more careful than I am.
I went to the hospital, qualified for and received the antibodies.

I'm home, I was not sick enough to be admitted, thank goodness.
I only went for the antibody infusion and I was so happy to receive it.
And just to let you know just how crappy I feel, I don't even feel like knitting.
They said it takes two days to start to feel better once you have received the antibodies,
that would put me at 9 pm today, but who's counting?!

Hello Debbie,:=)

What a first rate photo of the Monarch butterfly:=) Glad you got the antibody's. It's just incredible that you got Covid when you have been so careful! Any idea how that could have happened? I hope you feel better soon, so you feel well enough to start knitting.

Hello,
I am sorry to hear you tested positive for Covid. It is good that you were able to get the antibodies. The breakthrough cases are happening. Always good to take care and stay safe. I hope you are feeling better soon!

I'm so sorry, Debbie. It's wonderful that you qualified for and got the antibody treatment. Here's hoping it lives up to its reputation of making you feel better in 2 days. I looked up the incubation time for the virus and it said it's up to 14 days. Since you've been home longer than that, I can understand why you're perplexed, not to mention upset! I believe that attitude makes a world of difference, and if anyone has a positive attitude, it's you. Wishing you a speedy recovery.

Now that's a low blow!!! How in the WORLD did Covid find YOU???? I'm wondering if there may be some sort of mistake? Of all people you would be the last one I can think of who would contact it!
Glad you are not deathly ill and I will be praying those antibodies kick in early! I had lunch with a friend on Saturday and she was debating about getting the booster shot. She is in the health care industry so she had her antibodies checked. 2600!!! No buster needed!!

Wow! Glad you got them antibodies but I would be super curious how you got it in the first place. Could anybody tell you how it might have happened? Hope you feel better soon!

Debbie, so sorry to hear this. Do you think it's possible that you picked it up in the hospital or in rehab? My brother-in-law's wife fell and broke her hip, was hospitalized, then rehab... then back to the hospital with Covid. It happens. But so glad you are vaccinated and that you got the antibodies! Hopefully you will feel better soon. I will put you in my prayers...

Girlie! I know you're careful. I do hope the antibodies kick it to the curb!

Oh no, that just shows you how easy it is to catch it, I keep waiting for it to happen, I have a feeling no one is going to get through this without catching it, hope that you feel much better soon and good to hear that you are walking a little bit, I continue to pray for you every day that you will be able to walk again without aid.

Oh, my I am sad to discover when you got the Covid. I am so happy you qualified for the Antibodies and that was the only reason for going back to the hospital. I do know it can take you down. I'm sure being vaccinated helped a lot.
When we had our family here for 12 days my son in law didn't do well at all. I kept taking his Oxygen levels and they were down. he was so weak and it took him more than six weeks to feel like he was almost normal. My daughter wasn't as bad and only one other granddaughter was down for a couple of days. The other two grandchildren had very mild symptoms. this virus is crazy.
Sending loving thoughts and prayers your way!
