Dinner At The Inlet

After a nice drive to Point Pleasant, we purchased dinner at Shore Fresh
and drove less than 2 minutes to the inlet to enjoy it.

A Lobster Roll for me, the hubs had Fried Shrimp.

This was the view...

We saw this very cool Catamaran that we had never seen before.
This is a multi-hulled watercraft with two parallel hulls of equal size.
It is a "geometry-stabilized" water-craft, deriving its stability from its wide beam.
So interesting to see!

This is "Miss Maddy"

a hard working commercial fishing boat,

from Atlantic City, NJ

"Tina" another hard working commercial fishing boat.

"Jessica Heather"

Trying to eat and always wanting/needing to jump out of the car to take pictures...
awww, the life of a "blogger", "picture taker", "memory keeper"!
It's the best life ever!

And if you are wondering about dinner, it was awesome!

oooooh and I almost forgot...

our lock is still here!

I love this place!

I love it too! Love that your locks are still there and that you have such pretty places to see while having a tasty picnic!

I love the lock; it is so cute. You are romantics. I do like this adventure. I love your boat photos. You do get some great shots of them. We had a skiing boat for a while and love it. We mainly went on Spokane River and on Lake Coeur d'laine. It is such a beautiful area. You always find such beautiful places to photograph.
Blessings and hugs!

Hi Debbie, What a super day out. I love boats, the sea, and would be in my element eating lunch and watching all these different boats. You took great photos of them, and I just loved seeing your lock, in purple of course!!:=)

These are great! I love all these photos and am envious of your lobster roll. It has been too long since we have made their acquaintance, lol!

Ha ha you sound like Greg, when we are having a picnic he always has his camera at hand, you just never know when something is going to catch his eye, he tries to restrain and keep his attention on me and our conversation but I tell him it is ok with me :)
Fun to see a new boat out there I am sure. Wow when you see all that rust on a boat you wonder how seaworthy it is, I am sure they keep that stuff inspected.
I am so excited that the warmer weather is here and we can have our meals on picnic tables again and not be cooped up in the car :) Glad you had a wonderful day out!

I think living on a boat would be great. We have experienced living right on the ocean when we lived in Papua New Guinea and loved it. But if had my choice it would be the mountains with an ocean view.

Debbie - one of my favorite things to do is eat outside. Our weather is ALMOST at that point .... Last week, we were drawing our initials in snow rather than hanging locks!!! And fresh seafood - it doesn't get better than that!

Love the boats! I sometimes wonder how the various names come about. Glad your lock is still in place!

I love all those boats. It reminds me of my time in Scotland. Your purple padlock made me smile too. I'm glad it's still there.
