Barn Charm #57

Lakewood, New Jersey
I know it's not a real Barn...
but today, I really wanted to participate in Barn Charm, it's been a while.

And it's the story I want to share!

Aren't they beautiful??

Now, let's rewind back to June of 2012.
The hubs and I purchased a house, in a small retirement community.
I adore the house, inside and out, it is perfect for us.
We picked out our lot, put down our deposit and
our excitement ensued.

Then the usual obstacles presented themselves.
We were less excited but persistent, we really want the house.

It's been seven months or so and we are only a little closer
to making our dream come true!

He lives across the street, I would see him everyday,

this beauty lives there also.

I know this is where I belong.
I know this is where I am suppose to be!

And, um, do you see that he's wearing Purple!!

So happy to be sharing today with Tricia at Barn Charm
Please stop by Bluff Area Daily to see all the amazing,
charming barns from all around the world.

That purple halter the horse is wearing is a good sign! I hope everything gets settled for you and Chuck soon with your new house. We can't wait to see it!

Hi Debbie, I'm sorry to hear you've had a few delays in regard to your new home. Hopefully, they'll be sorted out and before you know it you it you'll be in there.
I'm with you, that purple halter is most definitely an omen - nothing surer.
Such beautiful horses, what gorgeous neighbours. Can see it in their faces, they can't wait for you both to move in.
Sending heaps of jolly good luck your way xx

Debbie, I love your barn series and the horses. They would be cool neighbors, especially since they wear purple. I hope all goes thru with your dream house. Have a happy week!

Debbie, I can understand your frustration as we also hope to relocate, but first need to sell our VA home so we can move to NH. Are you also hoping to sell your current Nj home before moving also. We have decided that we like the looks of a new development and would dearly like to place a deposit on a lot and build, but cannot afford to do so at the present time. I hope your obstacles will clear soon.

Please keep us posted!

I'll be praying for the obstacles to melt away! It DOES look like you truly belong there! How many horses wear purple bridles to welcome you home?

I missed that too that you were moving. Lucky you get to be neighbors with the horses and she's wearing purple. How neat is that.
