Peddler's Village

On January 3rd the hubs and I took a drive out to
This cute little shopping village is just past the much more popular
New Hope and Lambertville.
Peddlers Village is my favorite.

Even though we were viewing the lights post Christmas, it mattered not.
They were magical!
We wandered about the village in just about solitude,
it really was the perfect night to view the lights
and set up the tri-pod for some great selfies.

There was snow on the ground and the little pond was frozen.
The night was perfect, the sky was clear,
and the air was perfectly crisp.

We had a great dinner, a wonderful walk through the village
and I even did a little shopping!

Some unique greeting cards and a new address book.
We had a wonderful drive home.

I took about 100 pictures, I may try to share more later.

They were also hosting a gingerbread house contest,
the entries were amazing!!
I did photograph my favorites, I hope I can share them!

Blogger is still not working for me,
I would like to pat myself on the back for out smarting them.
Using the iPad, if you can believe that!!
I have a new found love for Kevin!

We're nothing if not stubborn when it comes to this stuff! I don't think I've ever been to Peddler's village - might have to plan a meet up there in warmer weather!

Oh, I love Peddlers' Village -- especially at Christmas! I'm betting you went to my favorite paper store. Which restaurant did you visit? I'm thinking I need a little trip there, soon.
Peace,
Muff

We seem to be following one another around the Mid-Atlantic. I am heading to Bucks soon to visit a special gal who lives there. A trip to Peddler's Village is always on the agenda.

The photos are wonderful. You do need some jeans and warm boots for your winter outings though. :-)

Apparently blogger is not working properly for a lot of bloggers lately...

I haven't been to Peddler's Village in a long time!

And are you really wearing flip flops in January??

I love these - I always think of you when we use our tripod. But I may need some lessons on the night-time photography. Those shots are amazing!
