The Coal House.....

If you have never had coal fired pizza......you have to try it. A few weeks ago, we found a great new pizza joint in Point Pleasant, NJ, 10 minutes from home. They serve coal fired pizza. I mentioned it here but I just can't find the entry. The pizza was amazing and the restaurant had such a cool vibe, a return visit was a must. I did not have my camera last time but for sure did not forget it this visit. We started with a great shareable salad and each ordered a pizzette. A pizzette is a "personal pizza" so we can each get what we love...and sample each others. If your not hungry now, you will be after this....

710 A Arnold Avenue.....right in the canter of town.....
The Coal House!!!!

The Pesto Pizza....or at least whats left of it.......
this was mine.......
Fresh Mozzarella, garlic, sliced roma tomatoes, pesto sauce, olive oil & lot's of fresh herbs!!!

The Mediterrano Pizza....
This was Chuck's......
Fresh mozzarella, tomato sauce, black olives, onions, sausage and tomatoes!!!

The decor in this place is fabulous.......

don't you just love this?!?!?

High tables, metal chairs & fresh flowers!!!!

The owner of this place is just great, very personable.....
can you see him in the center of the photo, waving at me!!!!

I was sooooo entertained by the "pizza tossing guy"
can you see the pizza up in the air, blocking the word house!!!!
He loved that we were taking pictures!!!!

After dinner, we went for a walk on the boardwalk.....
we used the timer on the camera and got a couple of fun shots of the two of us.....

The hubs and I on the boardwalk in Point Pleasant......

I loved both of these and decided to share both.

Ice cream was the final chapter......no pictures, but trust me, it was delicious!!!!!
