We will get to that in a minute...
There is a road in Colts Neck, NJ,
lined with maple trees that always display their fall color at the exact same time.
It's not far from home and it is 5 minutes from Delicious Orchards so it is a win, win little trip for us.
The trees were just starting to change so we will go back in a week or so.
I have taken some outstanding pictures here.
All of the homes are gorgeous and are connected to farms with horses.
I photographed the horses, they will be my critters on Saturday.
At Delicious Orchards they had these beautiful, hand painted pumpkins.
These are ceramic pumpkins, the designs are very intricate.
When I was younger, we just called it cheese and crackers and we did not present it in this way.
But this is better and the next time I will add a few more things.
I put this together for this first night of "Survivor" don't judge, I am a huge fan.

Hello,
We are not seeing many fall colors here yet, maybe the drought has an effect on the trees. The painted pumpkins are so pretty. The playset looks fun for the kiddies. Your charcuterie board looks pretty and delicious. I watch Survivor too. Take care, have a wonderful day!
Our grandson loves olives , onions and pickles on the board. He is only seven.
My friend Peggy and her family love Survivor and she always had special snacks for their Wednesday night viewing! It's like me with football Sundays. Always have the good snacks!!!
I love Charcuterie Boards and bought a cookbook featuring them at last year's book fair! I made a Happy Birthday Board for my best friend's husband's birthday and it was a big hit!
Great time of year to go to the farms and orchards! I can't even spell or say charcuterie!!!!! LOL 😆 🤣 😂. We just say cheese and crackers on a plate ! Ha ha ha. We aren't fancy lol
I bet that the participants on Survivor wishes they had a Charcuterie Board like your. So yummy looking. We all have our favorite shows that we watch, so, no no judgement here.
We went to Delicious Orchards during peach season but not yet for Fall! My NJ family called charcuterie boards and antipasto when I was growing up ;)
My husband is very fond of these boards and we have made them quite a bit in recent months. He prefvers calling it a cootchie-cootchie board, which always gets quite a laugh.
Those pumpkins are amazing! WE have those boards all the time when company comes

Dear Debbie!
Meat and cheese boards are a great idea when guests are visiting. I was delighted with the ceramic pumpkins. They are beautiful. Have a nice weekend.
Debbie, I never knew what a Charcuterie Board was until my youngest granddaughter mentioned it. We just called it Cheese and crackers - even if you added a bit of fruit.
I did enjoy seeing your photographs.
You can't beat a Charcuterie Board, the one in your photograph looks delicious... and if you wanted you can serve a lower carb cracker :)
All the best Jan
