Fall is in the air and I love Longwood Gardens in early autumn...
People always ask me when is the best time to visit Longwood Gardens,
Spring and Christmas are the best times to visit,
but we have season passes so for us, anytime is the best time to visit.
I think right now would be considered an off season at Longwood, maybe more between seasons.
The mums and pumpkins have not yet found their way out to the gardens, it will be gorgeous when they do.
Still there is plenty of color in the gardens and more than 200 park like acres to explore.
Here is some more of what we saw.
Hydrangea
I picked up a few Christmas gifts that I can't show pictures of and my 2025 Calendar.
Can you believe it...I still have more to show, tune in tomorrow.

This spot looks like heaven on earth, Debbie!
Beautiful photos and lovely collection of flowers from Longwood Gardens. Take care, have a great day!
Beautiful pictures, Debbie! I love the Golden trumpet and Mexican petunias best! I had my very FIRST dahlia this summer and she had her first bloom!!!!--- and Hurricane Debbie destroyed her 😔. She never recovered. I'll try again next summer.
So beautiful. Love all the blooms, especially the sunflowers.
I can easily see why you would want to have a season pass. So many pretty flowers! I wonder of the shop sells seeds too.

Such a lovely place to visit.
Beautiful photographs.
All the best Jan
So beautiful.
Gorgeous flowers and I did see a hint of Autumn colored leaves there :) The entrance to the garden shop is pretty impressive too!
Gorgeous! I really must get up there one day. It’s on our bucket list.
Longwood Gardens is a wonderful place to visit, I agree, Debbie, and how nice that you have a season pass! We only visited once or twice when we were living in NJ but it may be worth a return visit the next time we're in the area.
