Pollinating...

The bumblebees are so busy right now, taking care of pollinating business.
I think they are enjoying these beautiful Rhododendrons as much as I am...we both adore the same color!

Pollination - pollen from a flowers antlers, the males part of the plant, rubs or drops onto the pollinator.
The pollinator then takes the pollen to another flower,
where the pollen is transferred and sticks to the stigma, the female part.
The fertilized flower later yields fruit and seeds.

Mother nature...another of her miracles!!

Beautiful pics, Debbie. We have been seeing more honeybees around our garden lately. This is good, yes?
