Little Projects

I have been trying to keep myself busy, doing one small project every day.
I have been doing so but when I think back, I can hardly remember what I have done.
I have to take pictures, that way, I always remember.

I organized my current craft items into this cool bucket that I love.
These are supplies for new projects that I want to try.
Watercolor painting is at the top of my list,
I have been watching some videos on Youtube to help me get started.

I have been sprucing up the kitchen counters just a little.

I purchased the new Canister Set from Wayfair, I am using the large one for utensils,
and the other two for sugar and flour.
I love the new cleaner and brighter look.

New Salt and Pepper grinders, also from Wayfair.

I have been working on cleaning out my kitchen drawers as well.

This is my crazy knife drawer,
it's a miracle I have not cut a finger off.

I organized the knife drawer with this
knife block I bought from Amazon.
Such an improvement, right?
I had room to add my steak knives as well,
and that freed up space in the drawer where they had been living.
I added spatulas where the steak knives use to be.
Everything fit except my pastry tool and I added that to my baking cabinet.

I cleaned up most of the kitchen drawers, one each day, I will spare you those pictures.

There was a scrapbooking suitcase under the dining room table, collecting dust...
I never use it anymore, but it was loaded with "stuff".
I cleaned it out, kept what I needed and got rid of the rest and the suitcase as well.
That felt great, it has been on my to do list forever!

I got a new washer and dryer and cleaned the laundry "closet"!
I don't have a room,
just a very small space, but I make it work.
I the hubs washed the floors before these came and then I washed down all of the shelves.
Organized what I need and tossed what I didn't.

I keep a lot of my Christmas decorations in here also.

I printed these signs online for free...
a little inspiration!

I decided to keep my snacks and drinks out for my delivery drivers.
I order everything and I get a lot of deliveries year round.
I printed a new sign online, again for free, and added some different snacks.

New selection.

Looks cute, right?

I am doing the same as you do at the moment doing one thing each day. I am doing some kitchen cabinet painting now.

I like your new set for the kitchen, I don't have a lot of cupboard space so I have some of my machines on my counter, but I would like to have some often used utensils in something like you have there. I hope you share some of your watercoloring you do. We recently got a new washer too, told Greg my dryer is still working so let's wait on that, I only have a closet too, sometimes I wish I had a room but it works like you say :)

You kitchen looks so neat and well organized. I like the basket with new projects to work on too. I keep a couple of craft projects on my desk 'at the ready'! It makes me feel good to walk into that room and be able to sit down and 'work'. Love the goodies for your delivery people. Kindness...it makes such a difference!

How much do you charge for the lovely sprucing up for my place?

It looks dandy and continuing the treats for the drivers is really sweet.

Yes, it all looks so organized, and I love the cute sign and snacks for the deliveries. You are the best! Actually, you are an inspiration. I need to do all of these things. I might in a while be able to work on organizing and cleaning. The idea of one drawer a day is workable.
Blessings and hugs!
