Our local arts theater, The Algonquin, presented a musical interpretation of
following the story line from the movie.
It was excellent...
the costumes, the sets and props were all amazing.
The actors and actresses all had beautiful, broadway quality voices.

No photographs were allowed during the performance,
but I have a few reminders of this special afternoon.

I was able to meet a few of the special actors in the lobby as we left...

This guy was excellent as Santa

this young man was amazing and what a voice!

  1. Hello,
What a fun evening seeing the Elf musical. Cute photos with Santa and the Elf. Take care, have a happy new week!

  2. There is nothing quite like theatre! We were ata concert last night. It was wonderful too!

  3. So much fun. Glad you enjoyed.

  4. Glad you enjoyed the musical. Cute photos.
    Have a good week.

  5. Oh that sounds absolutely amazing.

  6. Sounds fun, I liked your photographs.

    All the best Jan

  7. Oh I bet that was fun getting out and seeing that, neat you get to meet them after :)

  8. I am so happy to see you out and about and standing there posing!!
Elf! That reminds me - when the kids were here on Saturday to tour our Christmas House, one of them asked me, "Do you have any elves??" And no, I do not. That's funny. I guess I am not especially drawn to least not Christmas ones. I do love the St. Patrick's elves.....or are they leprechauns? And are they the same thing?

  9. How fun and it is neat that you got good pictures to remember the beautiful afternoon -- I am going to think about that next time we get to go to a play or musical theater event . When they say "no photos" I usually just think 'well, I won't be able to blog anything about this..." but you knew how to do it! Lovely to see you out enjoying yourself and looking good!!!

  10. Oh, I think seeing a stage play of Elf would be the best. I'm happy you got those fun photos with the cast. I do love musicals.
I'm happy you get to have these experiences.
    Blessings and hugs!
