The sun came out on Sunday.
The sky was blue, the sun was bright, the air was crisp, calm and silent...
The snow was pristine...shimmering in the sun's light.
There were mounds of snow, an accumulation of tiny snowflakes
that had fallen, one flake at a time.
Here's a peek at my "Morning Surprise"
WoW!!! Just like a miracle!!
Did any of you wake up to the same view??
But...and now this is a big but for me, after talking with the hubs last night,
(whom I have not seen in three days)
and going over the final numbers of what it will cost us to clean up this snow,
(we have a lot of income property),
I have sadly circum to the fact that I don't want any more snow.
I have sadly circum to the fact that I don't want any more snow.
The clean-up from this storm is going to cost us a small fortune
and we do not bill our tenants for this expense.
So there you have it...no one in this house will ever wear
her pj's inside out...never, not ever again!

Most people never consider that fact.
Good morning, I had to laugh at you wearing your PJ's inside out. I am with you, I do not want anymore snow. It is pretty to look at, but I have seen enough. It can go away now, LOL. Happy Monday, enjoy your new week!
It IS beautiful. If you lived in Michigan, you'd have this wonder a couple of times a winter. :-) Except this El Nino' year. We have very little, but cold enough to keep. You'll start the "melt" in a few days.
I read an article this morning that stated this storm will be a multi-billion dollar cleanup. It's beauty can certainly be diminished by that startling fact. Enjoy it anyway if you can.
i did have a surprise, we have been shoveling like crazy. & more to be done around here. i love the exercise, but i can feel muscles i didn't know i had. ha. ha!! i love these kind of surprises. i heard of all the flooding around Wildwood, NJ ... it has probably been over 10 yrs since we were there, but loved it all the same. stay warm & cozy, Debbie ... i will call you the snow queen, or snow angel queen? any who. you have a ball with all that snow. ( :
One lovely pristine snowfall per season will do.
Overhead expenses can be a bear.
Snow can be a nuisance, but oh, those photos are pretty!
Although hard to remove all the snow, it's a beautiful surprise Debbie. Nice pictures.
Besos.
It does look very pretty whenthe sun comes out but hopefully that will be the end of it for you
awww. bummer!
Pros and Cons always come as a pair. But at least you have a beautiful pro.
I'm sorry about this, Debbie. Hopefully everything will work out for the best.
Beautiful photo's; I love seeing the sun as I'm sure you were also. Gorgeous!
xoxo
Well your photo's are just stunning...
All the best Jan
What pretty white snow and the blue, blue sky. You haven't seen Chuck in three days? Was he trying to stay ahead of the snow on your other places? Did I miss something, You were wearing your pj's wrong? It happens to me all of the time. :)
It all looks beautiful Debbie but I'm sad it's going to cause you so much expense.
Super duper snowy scenes! It is magical but now that you think about the cleanup cost... Whoa! Too much!
Keep safe!
Beautiful scenes with the perfect lighting.
I love your new look. I'm still working on mine. It may be a work in progress for awhile. I'm slow like that. But, love yours. So easy on the eye!!
Oh your morning sunrise is indeed glorious, but oh.....the cost of it all. Sublime photos, Debbie!
Debbie, I am laughing at wearing your pjs inside out. I only heard of this last week. I do tell my children to go home and do a snow dance, now I know they need to remind them about their pjs. Love it! Beautiful pictures....
You make me smile!!!
All of that snow sure looks pretty.
Beautiful.
Such a gorgeous winter day!
no matter what - someone always has to pay the fiddler. Sunday's sun was a welcome sight here as well. Bummers on the clean-up costs.
Lovely images Debbie!:) It looks so beautiful while it lasts, but I'm sorry it's going to cost you! PJ's inside out,... so funny!:)
Wow that is a gorgeous blue sky, I love the glow that the snow gives even at night, with the full moon and the snow I didn't have to turn on the light to see Peanut out in the yard. Looks like those branches are pretty heavily weighed down. Glad you didn't lose power. Hope for your sake this is the last big snowfall of the year :)
Beautiful beautiful pictures! I just love it when the sun shines after a beautiful snow fall! Oh, I'm sorry to hear that your joy about the snow was snuffed with the bill of the clean-up! Ugh! I do understand that it is a big big job to do as we deal with that here. Thankfully we have our own tractor and can do it ourselves now. But I do remember years before we had a tractor, having to prepare myself to write a check every time the snow fell, not fun!
I so love a sunny day after the snowfall!
I thought about you and all the snow. It's absolutely beautiful, but knowing the cost of clean-up would certainly dampen my enthusiasm! You live in a very beautiful area!
Ugh.....looks pretty, but I DON'T like snow or winter for that matter. I can't stand the mess and bundling up! We've been lucky in the Chicagoland area. We haven't had much snowfall. THANK GOD!
So far as yet I've been lucky not to have reached that "I've had my limit of snow" because we've been really lucky so far. Although if it keeps up like this, I'll probably regret it for the grass and other greenery that needs all that winter snowfall! I like how the sunshine came out to make your day beautiful!
The photos are so beautiful. I can't imagine the work involved with having to take care of properties. It's enough work just do take care of your own property. I am afraid we are getting more snow here. We are getting rain and then snow which is a mess. Oh, well we will try to still see the beauty in it. Blessings!
