Holiday in the Park

We have a Six Flags Great Adventure only 20 minutes from home in
Jackson, NJ
We have season passes so we can see the shows and to ride the safari,
we don't "do" the adventurous rides or roller coasters.

For the first time ever, they decorated the park for Christmas
and their display was really beautiful.
Our season passes are good until the end of the year,
so this was included for us and what a treat.

I took a lot of pictures, I hope you enjoy them as much as we
enjoyed the experience!

 Bugs Bunny

 Town Square

The tree in the center of the park,

changed color

to Christmas tunes.

It was another warm night but we still had snow,
of the "artificial" variety.

Look closely, this is a snowman, it was very cool!

Houdini's Great Escape decorated with peppermints!!

 This is the carousel!!

 The Yum Yum Palace

 Sweet Treats

I thought the storefront windows were beautiful.

oooh what a night...really fun and not very crowded!!
There was a little funnel cake, extra powdered sugar, please!!
We are working on the ole' "bucket list"
and finally getting some things crossed off!!

Oh my goodness, thanks for sharing my kind of sights! I didn't get to catch as many of these lighted scenes this year, and I've really need a fix of lights and charm!

many thanks for your kind comment. it sounds like you have been reading for some time as a "secret agent". i looked for your blog or another way to communicate with you but came up with nothing!! so i hope you come back here, and read this so you know how much i appreciate my readers and followers.

my blog is the story of my life, the little things really. i think it proves that you don't have to climb a mountain to have fun and enjoy life, we sure do!!!!!

Wow for being the first year that they did this they really did it up good, that is just fantastic!!! Looks like there was a lot to see, great way of capturing it all!!! I am not a ride person either, never really was one as a kid either, have always had motion sickness so that cut down on the amount of things I can do. Glad you had a wonderful time!!

This is the first time they've done this? Wow! It looks absolutely amazing! Worth the season ticket for this alone I would think! I am impressed as well by your photo skills...
