Who doesn't love seeing flowers during the winter?
Barlow's is one of my favorite garden centers and with our warmer temperatures,
Saturday seemed like the perfect day to visit.
As I rounded the bend, heading in, this big guy greeted me.
He never moved a muscle and is clearly "not" a guard dog.
And he is clearly not as excited to be here as I am.
Thinking about Spring!!
The husband bench,
I purchased the pot he is holding for my paper whites next year.
In Spring, this place will be consumed with flowers,
vegetables, trees, roses and every garden ornament you could ever imagine.
Beautiful garden flags, seeds, watering cans, birdbaths
and gazing balls.
If you need it for your garden, they will have it.

When I have cabin fever or the winter blahs I always find the local garden nursery is a great place to go for relief. Of course I'm just like you Debbie... I always take my camera.
Well this made me feel all warm and happy on a very cold morning with snow. That is a pretty place to spend time and I love the "non-guard dag" :) Nice shot of the bench the pot and the hubs. Hug B
Barlow Garden Center attracted me very much. Me and my camera would be very happy there. The dog looks tired and sleepy
Good morning, Debbie. I love the cute sleepy looking dog. The garden center does look like a great place to visit, I love all the pretty flowers. Your new pot is pretty, the paperwhites will look beautiful. Happy Monday, enjoy your new week!
I can see why you love the place. Love the gnomes...and I think the old pup deserved a nice blanket to lay on. (just saying)
I love that place. So glad you are doing fun things. I am living through you right now. :) Yes, spring will come again. So glad you reminded me.
Have a lovely week Debbie.

What a sweet old hound. Nothing like a visit to the garden centre in mid winter.
That looks like a good place to let the gardeners imagination run wild.

A Garden Centre would always be nice in January! Up here most of them close for the coldest part of winter.
A trip to a Garden Center is exactly what I need!!!! Yours is beautiful and I always smile when you include a pic of your Patient Husband!
Yup...i love seeing flowers. If go to gardening center i cant help myself. Sure will bring something home
Such a sweetie there to greet you (well lie there) when you come in, you can see the gray around his face, just like my old gal. I just love how you captured the sunshine coming through the windows on those flowers!! I do I ever want that wagon, that is too cool! That pot is going to look great with your paper whites!
We live right down the street from two places like this - one HUGE version and one smaller version. Never fails to cheer me up when I visit. Not gonna lie, the 'husband bench' made me smile!!
This was a refreshing reprieve!
You certainly brought a ray of sunshine and spring into my day today. It is so dreary here. It has rained and then we have a rain snow mix. I just want warm. I really really loved all of your flower pictures; and I think you know why. You are just so amazing. I loved the shot of your hubby holding your newest pot. You are so inspiring~ Blessings!
These pictures are absolutely lovely. Really enjoyed them, thank you. Mel at catesgarden
