How "Bout" Those Chiefs!!

If you do not follow football, this entry may not be for you...
The Kansas City Chiefs won the AFC Championship this year after getting off to a bumpy start.
But there is something to be said about the heart of a champion...
After being the third seed in the postseason and winning their division, they were the underdog's at the
Super Bowl
They beat the first seed SF 49er's in overtime 25 - 22.
They have proven it time and again and they did so at the 2024 Super Bowl.
They have gone to 4 Super Bowls in the last 5 years, winning 3 of them and winning the last 2 in a row.
Lead by quarterback Patrick Mahomes they are all outstanding players.

I alway love these tributes to the American Flag!

Patrick Mahomes prior to the game...during the National Anthem

The winning throw...

The winning touchdown!

Hardman scored the winning touchdown in overtime!

Look at that smile, he is one happy guy!
He now has 3 Super Bowl rings and has accomplished so much in his 28 years of life.
He is a kind and humble guy, always giving credit to his teammates.

I don't follow football, but I did watch the game for the commercials. LOL
My husband and children are avid fans and watched with great interest. Art had a bet going with our son that the Chiefs would win. Now my son will have to send him $1 from overseas.
Wow! He's only 28? That's amazing!
