Saturday Critters #485

The backroads always take me someplace new and exciting!
On a recent lazy day, dirt road drive, I found three cows lying down, bathing in the afternoon sun.
Two noticed me right away, but were sluggish getting up.
Once they did, they were quick to come over, make friends and smile for some pictures.
I had so much fun with these cows, I wish I had snacks for them.
I googled what they like to eat and snack on...
they eat primarily grass and snack on gummy worms, marshmallows, hard candy, chocolate...
so in a nutshell, they have a sweet tooth!

I had so much fun with these cows, I will definitely be visiting them again!

Hello Debbie,

The cows are so cute. I just love those closeups at the fence. I did not know they had a sweet tooth. Fun collection of critters and photos.
Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Take care, have a happy weekend. PS, thank you for leaving me a comment.

Debbie, I love your pics of the cows. I think cows have been given bad PR over the years... thinking them dumb and follow the herd mentality. I think they would respond as well as any other animal to loving care and attention. These cows look well cared for.

Your photo series is beautiful. Debbie, they're not cows, they're males. They are very handsome.
Hugs and greetings.

We love getting out on the backroads and seeing animals. The house in the background is beautiful too. Enjoy your weekend my friend!

They certainly are cute aren't they? Each one seems to have a personality of their own.

They seem to be real pets. And they liked having their photos taken.

I love cows and their big eyes and that is a great shot of the one eye in the sunlight. They all look very contented Debbie. Thanks for your comments and have a great week ahead.

Thanks for the beautiful photos... it's a lot of fun to look at them.
And I can imagine how much fun you had.
I'm looking forward to the cows and horses coming out to pasture here... lots of rain today and around freezing tonight... but it can be quite nice outside very quickly :-)))
Happy Sunday to you and many greetings from Viola.
