Huddy Park

I have lived in Ocean County my entire life and I have never explored the historic and very beautiful
Huddy Park
On March 27, 1782 Toms River was attacked by a raiding party of Tories,
Americans who remained loyal to the British in the Revolutionary War.
This park pays tribute to that battle.

It was a super hot day and there is a lot more exploring that needs to be done here.
We will go back on a cooler day,
there are a lot more statues and monuments to see!

Very familiar with Huddy Park. We owned a townhome right down the road in Bayville at one time. Lovely little Park! If you ever get a chance, take a lunch or dinner cruise on the River Lady......you won't be disappointed!! Hugs!

Another interesting spot. It would be fun to go on that paddleboat.

Looks like they did a nice job with this park, I have always thought about taking a ride on one of those waterwheel boats, there are some that go down the Mississippi, I would think I wouldn't get sea sick on those. It is getting very HOT here too, can't stay out as long in this heat, especially when the humidity comes along with it. At least now you know if you would want to return there when it is nicer :) Have a great weekend!

Wow, this is an awesome Historical park. I loved all the photos and I am surprised this is your first time there. I liked all the photos. The Paddle boat looked fun. Do they do cruises on that?
Sending hugs your way!

I was watching a segment on the NBC Today show at the boardwalk at Jersey Shore and almost expected to see you there enjoying an ice cream. It is a lovely part of the world. How fun it would be to cruise along a river in a paddle boat.
