Christmas At Longwood Gardens

We have annual passes for Longwood Gardens, and we visit as often as we can,
which is pretty often!
The gardens are always changing, and are gorgeous for every season.
Christmas may be my favorite time to go...
but if you ask me about my favorite display in the spring, I will tell you spring is my favorite time.

The conservatory was spectacular this year,
magic around every corner, I don't know if I have ever seen it more beautiful!

This is only a small peak into the magical beauty that lies inside the conservatory at
 Longwood Gardens
I have a few other pictures of the 1906 Restaurant and the outdoor light display.
I'll share those tomorrow!

We went last Monday...
it was a damp, drizzly day, and that ended up being the perfect time to visit.
Their were only a few other visitors, and we had such a nice time.
By the time we made our way outside,
the rain had stopped and it was a beautiful night.
Wait until you see what they did with the outside gardens, it is incredible!

Imagine being one of the people who works there, spending all day there...no office, no paperwork, just this beauty. :)

Beautiful! I look forward to photos of the gardens. I love the splashes of red! I also really like that you have several “favorites” - it must make it fun to visit throughout the year.

We don't have any gardens like that here and isn't that a shame. Beautiful pictures but especially like the one of the two of you seated...that should be your "Christmas picture".

Look how cute you both look AND your outfit! I bought some tights but don't have a top to wear with them yet. And flip flops? You would fit right in around here! heehee! Of course that is a beautiful place to visit and photograph! WOW!

hi monica, that was our favorite as well. we ended up using the 5th picture because it was more "christmassy" and colorful...i just ordered the cards yesterday. we took a lot of "selfies" in hopes of getting one good one for our card but we ended up getting several and it was a difficult choice to pick just one!!

They did such a pretty job with it, makes you feel like you are in an ice castle with all that shimmering, cascading down from the trees! Glad it ended up being a perfect day to go!
