The Black-eyed Susans

In my mixed flower garden, there is always a different flower blooming.
Let me tell you about how that garden got started...
There was an old/out dated package of seeds,
that I tossed in a bare garden area,
- barely raked in...never expected one flower to bloom -
and every year it produces more and more flowers and it grows in beauty.
I love it's natural element.

Right now the Daisies and Black-eyed Susan's are the star of the show.
I have been watching them and photographing them every day.
Here is one, bud to bloom!

At every stage, from bud to bloom, it is magnificent!!

An outdated package of seeds and now it blooms, and blooms, and blooms... That is a powerful message!

Just from seeds and not transplanted roots! AMAZING!
They look like Brown-Eyed Susan's to me. That's what we call them here. LOL

Gorgeous photos!

A natural garden.... Like a Cottage Garden... Perfection...

Our Black Eyed Susans do not bloom, till later. Must be that difference in temp and etc., between us "up here," and you "down there." :-)

We do love them, and love how they keep spreading!!!!

Many, many gentle hugs,

How special! I'm going to find a packet of mixed seeds and see if it will work for me! Your flowers photos are every bit as beautiful as your bird ones!

How wonderful to see it grow like that, beautiful pictures!! We planted seeds like that out back last year and we really didn't get much but this year in that patch Black eyed susans popped out and are doing very well, isn't that funny, they didn't do anything last year.

Lovely photos of bud to bloom! I could use your green thumb here. We planted 4 big plants and they aren't looking all that well. Hopefully, we will see some progress in a few days. Your photos are always magnificent! Big hugs~
