2016 in a Jar

Do you remember my
Memory Jar?
It is quite full now and since 2016 has come to an end,
it will find a special place on a pretty shelf, to be displayed for eternity.

I emptied everything out and enjoyed looking at all our 2016 mementos.

One thing I found that I enjoyed seeing again were the keys to our locks from Niagara Falls.
If you missed that entry, you can read about our "Love Locks" here.

I also enjoyed seeing this Scattergories Game sheet from August,
with Michaels handwriting.
If you have never played you must, it is such a fun game!!

I am on the lookout for a new pretty jar for holding our 2017 memories!

Very cool! I am doing a Blessing jar for 2017.I have never done this before, but each day I try to write a blessing or special item on a colourful piece of paper, fold it up and drop it into the jar.

Sad.

2016 is only a small jar.

I rarely keep things like that anymore. I usually end up tossing them out.

I think this is such a wonderful idea, Debbie!
And I love that you keep them on a shelf instead of putting them away somewhere.
Thank you for sharing!
