I finished my Cider Press Hat.
I am happy with the end result, I love the color and this beautiful Alpaca Yarn.
As I knitted this hat, I wasn't sure who would be receiving it.
Then I saw a picture of one of my cousins on Facebook,
with a group of girls, running a marathon and she was the only person without a hat on.
Problem solved - I can't wait to mail it to her!
I have been thumbing through my favorite Sea Glass Book,
reading the wonderful short stories.
I met the author, Richard LaMotte and he signed my book.
That pretty piece of sea foam green Sea Glass is one of my favorites.
It's a large piece, one I found many years ago!

Oh I bet your cousin is going to be just thrilled when she opens this hat!!! That is so sweet, doesn't it feel great to make something for someone and know they could really use it. How neat to have met the Author of that book :)
I love Sea Glass and have about 5 pieces--which have taken 30+ years to find. (Pout).
My sister, who lived on the East Coast for 20+ years, has a whole pint jar full--and she will not share!
