"Filling Your Cup"
by definition means to practice self care by engaging in activities that replenish your energy,
joy and mental well being.
- Being Outdoors -
One of the most important things I do to fill my cup is being outdoors, in nature and gardening.Much more difficult during the winter but if you can go for a walk, do it,
fresh air is exhilarating!
Cut from the garden,
purchased at the florist or grocery store, flowers always make a space feel warm and cozy.
Watercolor Painting
- Journaling -
I have many...all with different themes.
The Notebook - The Family Stone...2 of my favorites.
"ps...I Love You" is another favorite movie, it gets me everytime.

Getting Enough Sleep
- Music -
Whatever's saved in your iTunes or that you listen to on Spotify.
- Nurturing Relationships -
Finding Peace
Mindfullness
Meditation
These things fill my cup...tell me in the comments what fills yours?

Hello, Debbie
Great post and photos of your "fill your cup" activities.
I like getting outdoors for a walk. I do read a lot and birdwatching is one of my favorite hobbies. Take care, have a great day and a happy week!
Your watercolor has developed by leaps and bounds, Debbie. You can tell how much you have been working. I like to bake (though on a baking moratorium till I knock off the Christmas weight!) and paint, and be with my blog folks and be with friends and people. All energize me.
So many talents, but you forgot one of your best; photography! You can even make the common English Sparrow look special. The photos of the freshly fallen snow looked amazing as well. We are still snowless in South Dakota, but it is chilly enough where one would wear an alpaca hat!
Such wonderful hobbies. You stay busy!
