It's A Winter Wonderland...

 Unless you live on Mars,
you know all about the snowstorm that impacted much of the country this weekend.
It started snowing around 1 am on Sunday.
The snow fell constantly throughout the day, the sky was gray all day, the wind a constant.
It was not the pretty huge snowflakes that stick to every branch of every tree.
The flakes were more like sugar...sugar you can really feel when it hits your face.
Here on my part of the east coast, we got about 8 inches of the white stuff,
and enjoyed a wonderfully quiet day at home.

These pictures were taken around 10 am, from the second floor of the house.

Front Yard

Mr. Male Cardinal
I spent a good part of the day photographing the birds.
It was snowing and blowing so hard, it was extremely difficult to get photos in focus.
The Junco

The plows came around 9 pm, and dumped a lot of snow at the base of our driveway.
The hubs will use the snowblower tomorrow and help those neighbors that need help.

There is one small caveat to my story....
I took my nighttime pills in the morning by mistake, those pills contain a sleeping pill...
so I missed a good part of the day.

I am hoping for better snow pictures in the morning!
