Seeing Spring

 - Spring -
...a time of rebirth...
the skies are blue, the grass is green, the trees are blooming and the earth is waking up.

A drive around Spring Lake was a joy for all of the senses.

This gorgeous vintage car was parked outside the library.
I took a few pictures and we drove off with much excitement.

While driving away I caught a glimpse of the back,
I asked the hubs if we could turn around and get a picture of the back.
We did,
I hopped out and captured this image of the back of the car.
With that, two people walked out of the library, one was Mike, the owner of the car.
As he stood on the steps of the library, I hollered to him,
"do you own this beauty"?
He did, he does...we had a nice long chat and he let me sit in it, he even took my picture.
I guess I did not explain right how to use my camera, when I checked it, no pictures.
But it's o.k., the memory is all mine!

The moral of the story, turn around, take the time, you might just meet Mike!

ps..Jim & Barb, I was not able to comment on your blog AND
I am not able to leave a comment on my own blog, we live in New Jersey,
the moral of that story, do. not. update. your. computer!

Such pretty pictures and am sure the smell was lovely as well. Cool old truck and how nice to meet the owner.

I love your cherry blossoms photos, especially that first one, an ideal evocation of spring, and the truck is super.

Your spring flowers are lovely. Right now, all I'm seeing out my window is a thick blanket of white snow and more coming down as we speak. This too shall melt and spring will come.

Beautiful flowering trees, they always put a smile on my face, wish they lasted longer, with all our winds and rain ours are almost gone already. How fun to come across the old truck and to get to talk to the owner, bummer the pictures didn't turn out.

Everything looks so beautiful there!! Such fun that you actually got to meet the owner of that wonderfully restored truck. That must have been a fun conversation!

Oh those blooms! Beauty on a branch. Perfect. The man-made beauty isn’t bad either.
