Saturday Critters ~ 352 ~

The Catbirds are gone for the season, they actually left a few weeks ago.
They are off to the Southeastern United States, the Caribbean and Mexico.
I had so many this year,
I already miss seeing them and hearing their song.

Gray Catbirds

I am seeing a lot more Chickadees and Titmouse right now.
They are here during the summer but it just seems I see a lot more now at the end of summer,
 they stay throughout the winter.

Black-Capped Chickadees

Tufted Titmouse

The usual suspects are hanging around the bird feeders also.
These birds pictured are less colorful,
but are some of my favorites.
The little Chickadees and Titmouse are so tiny and fast moving,
you have to be quick if you want a picture.

Have you spent any time this week birdwatching?
Do you watch them from your backyard or do you hike in order to see them?

Hello Debbie,
I am still seeing a few Catbirds, they love the berries found around my yard. Your Chickadee and Titmouse photos are beautiful, great captures! Take care and stay safe. Thank you for linking up your post. Enjoy your day, have a happy weekend. PS, thank you for leaving me a comment.

Debbie, We see our hummingbirds a lot. Their feeder is close to our window and we watch them fight over the feeder that has 8 feeding spots, they don't like to share. I love chickadees. They are so sweet looking. Blessings, be safe, xoxo, Susie

These close ups are so sharp and I love the ever green in the background. We haven't seen as many birds in the feeders this week. It's a slow time for our yard birds. But migration will start soon and we'll see more. I saw a flock of Canada Geese flying over our house this week. Happy weekend! Let's go for a bike ride soon! heehee!

Good morning what great captures, and thanks for reminding me I posted in Saturday's Critters and forgot to put in my link on her site! Oops. Enjoy your weekend Debbie!

Your pictures are so wonderful - you can see each feather! I'm in a very urban area so don't see many birds but hear them in the trees. I would normally see them while visiting my Dad in a LTC home but there are no visitors allowed because of the Covid so we have missed seeing all of the birds in the gardens there.

Beautiful pictures . Some day, perhaps I will get to see a Titmouse, but I guess i would have to go further south from where I live.

All such pretty birds. The small birds are the fastest I find.

Oh I love these pictures, they are some of my favorite birds too. I am always looking out for birds on our walk, but I am really enjoying the tiny hummingbirds coming to our feeder, when i go out on the deck I can hear them whizzing by but they are so fast I usually can't see them well unless they are taking time to drink out of the feeder.

Those little birds are so cute! I will keep my eyes open and see if I spot them here. I birdwatch out our big window. We put our feeders there so we can watch all the action, LOL. The hummingbirds feed there too. The backyard is bluebird territory, ha ha, we put the worms they love out there. I love watching birds in the bird baths too, so fun! Hope y'all are having a real nice weekend.

Dear Debbie!
Your photos are wonderful and the birds are beautiful.
In my house, birds do not look into feeders, and yet they have food on display.
A healthy and happy week.

Fantastic! Love the catbird! The chickadees are showing up again now that nesting season is done. Still waiting for the Titmice to reappear.

Thanks for sharing all your beautiful photos of birds. You are amazing at getting such good shots. Believe it or not, we finally did get a bird feeder and it has been very fun to watch the birds. We have had Sparrows, Robins and most of the Quail family has been fun to watch. My husband had taken a few photos but he's not as good at it as you. Again, you are my inspiration on this one.
Blessings and hugs!
