I have not gotten out much this week.
So building off of last weeks Critter Post, I thought I would share pictures of some of my favorite birds from my yard.
Actually, they are "all" my favorites you know...
Female Hummingbird
Bluejay
Male House Finch
Female House Finch

I love that little Downy and you take the best close ups! Love the bright colors in the bird kingdom. I saw a brown butterfly yesterday which I thought was unusual....I thought of you! Happy weekend!
Debbi, You have an awesome camera. Those pictures are wonderful. We have those birds around here in central Indiana too. Hope you are planning a fun weekend. Blessings, xoxo, Susie
These are lovely. Our one and only visiting hummingbird this year was a female. But she faithfully showed up every afternoon about 4 oclock, as if she's dropping in for afternoon tea. I think she's probably left now. Getting colder.
Hello. Fantastic photos. Beautiful birds. Thank you for sharing.
Have a wonderful weekend.
Hello Debbie,
These are all fabulous closeup photos of your birds. They are all lovely, it is too hard to pick a favorite. I am with you, they are ALL my favorite birds. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Take care, enjoy your day! Have a happy weekend! PS, thank you for leaving me a comment.
They are all beauties.
Wonderful photographs.
Happy Weekend Wishes.
All the best Jan
Wow, these are some amazing close ups - gorgeous!
You take the best bird pics! Every feather shows!
I’d love to see finches. They are on the island but I never see them. Thank you for sharing!
All are beautiful but Bluejay is my favourite. Wish he would fly down here so I could see him up close and personal. I am always mesmerised by your amazing photos of your amazing birds!
I never see better close-up pictures of birds than yours!
Your bird photos are my favourite .
These are wonderful! I always find feather detail to be fascinating. Our hummers are slowly, but surely leaving. These 40+ degree nights might persuade the stragglers to go.
Oh Debbie these are just beautiful!!--such close ups and the vivid colors, just love looking at them. Mr. Front Porch is asleep but when he awakes, I will show him these. How can you tell the hummingbird is a female?--I dont' know much about them but we do feed them and love to watch them. They are fascinating, well ALL BIRDS ARE, aren't they? We definetly share this interest don't we? I love your pictures, as you KNOW, LOL!!--enjoy them ALL....but Debbie your blue jay pictures are my most favorites. We HAVE THEM here, but we rarely see them. The feeders are full of chickadees, wrens, house finches, hummingbirds, cardinals, SQUIRRELS, etc and our backyard is the bluebird kingdom, LOL. sO ANYWAY I put out peanuts for the blue jays and they come eat them, but they just are not sociable or easily photographed here.
Oh, and we do have woodpeckers too. And owls. And titmouses. And probably alot of others Im not remembering, LOL
We have had a bounty of hummingbirds this year. I think of you each time they appear. Hugs!
Great shots. Thanks for sharing. - Margy
Always enjoy your birds, love the hummingbird picture, I haven't seen any today, I don't think they are supposed to be gone already, I still have never got a picture of them, just enjoy watching them :)
The colors on all of these birds are so beautiful. I especially, love the BlueJay and the Female House Finch is just cute. They are all magnificent creations. We had an unusual bird by our porch today and we got some photos. We haven't seen on like that. My husband took so photos and if there is a good one, I might send it to you to identify. We have really enjoyed our birdhouse this years. We have had a few varieties. We have a lot of Quail that come through all the time. I think they are cute.
Again, you are my inspiration. Big hugs!
