Yarn Along

I am still working on my Trellis Shawl...and I have knitted a lot this week.
If I were not a slow knitter, this would be done.
In this picture, I tried to illustrate how long it's really long.

I started watching the Marie Kondo show Tiding Up on Netflix.
Marie is a Japanese Tiding Consultant with tips and ways to "Tidy Your Home".
She has written a book and has a unique style of approaching how to tidy your home.

Most things I already do,
but I found her folding method interesting, helpful, and easy to complete.

If you are looking for helpful guidance and inspiration, watch her show.

  1. Your shawl will be spectacular. Slow and steady...

  2. Debbie, I long for the de-cluttering fairy to come to my house. LOL. Today, I gave away some new things and some used things to my daughter, granddaughter and two grandsons. Plus it helped me clean a little deeper. Gaaa. I can't wait to see your pretty shawl finish. LOL. But it's okay to take your never have to unravel that way. :) Blessings, stay safe, xoxo, Susie

  3. I did watch Marie Kondo some time ago and I enjoyed it. I do wonder about some of the people she visited though, whether they can still follow the method. Good grief, the “stuff” they had. (We lived and traveled full time in an RV for over ten years though, so any tendencies I had toward cluttering up my life went away during that time.)

  4. i think that shawl will be cozy and beautiful when done. I need to watch some of those organizing shows and put the things into practice.

  5. Your shawl is looking beautiful. It looks warm for the upcoming cooler weather. I could do with a organizing show for sure. I'm right now trying to plow through my study and get it organized better. It really is a disaster. I look into her show.
    Blessings and hugs!

  6. I say when you take this time to do your knitting you are doing a very good job, your stitches are just beautiful, good things take time :)
I watched her first season, didn't know she did anymore seasons.

  7. Your shawl is looking good :)

    All the best Jan
