Saturday Critters ~ 316 ~

We have had very little sun lately,
the skies have been gray and we have had a lot of rain...I wish I could send some to Australia.
Little sun means even less photography and I miss spending time with the birds.

This Northern Mockingbird visited on a day the sun was out for a few hours.
It is a familiar, long tailed white and gray bird.
Sexes are similar, white flashes are striking when in flight.
It is an accomplished singer...

Sharing todays Mockingbird with Eileen at Viewing Nature With Eileen

And as promised yesterday,
following are the pictures we took of the lights outside at Longwood Gardens.

I wish Christmas lights were a year round thing!

We've had no sun today, and like you wish we could send the rain where it's so badly needed. :(

Beautiful bird! And, Longwood Gardens you were just surrounded by such gorgeous color!

The bird is so sweet in the branches like that, I too wish that some of our rain could find it's way to Australia, I feel so bad for what they are going through.
The lights are so cool, the last reflection one was so cool, I do love my reflections :)

Beautiful Mockingbird! Ours haven't been around for some reason. Last winter they were driving all the other birds away. Love the lights! Those are gorgeous!
