Monarchs in Meadow

Monarch butterflies migrate in fall, usually mid September.
I was so surprised to see several still fluttering around in
The Meadow Garden at Longwood Gardens.

My Mother loved Monarch butterflies. We once drove over into Canada to see where they "gathered" before their migration. Trees that looked like they had orange leaves--on closer inspection--millions of Monarch's hanging on the limbs.
You have such a talent with your camera!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think your pictures are so pretty today. We are going to the beach this weekend and this time of year the monarchs are just everywhere. Have a wonderful day today Debbie.

Oh, so very beautiful! You can take the most wonderful photos; heck, I'd like yours if it was the broad side of a barn. :)
