Saturday Critters ~ 53 ~

My Dark Eyed Junco's have returned for winter,
and I could not be happier.
With the exception of cardinals, this is the prettiest
bird when it is surrounded with snow.

This Junco was much darker then the second one that visited.

This one was more gray then black!!

Sharing my Junco images from November 29, 2014 with
Eileen at Viewing Nature With Eileen
for Saturday Critters stop by and consider joining in,
any ole' critter will do!

they're beautiful! we usually see the slate-colored, too, so the deep black is really striking! they've not arrived here, yet.

You're fortunate! Juncos are not regulars for us, but they do appear from time to time. They're one of my favorites. Nice photos!

I used to see a lot of juncos when we lived in Alabama but not so many in the part of Va. where I am now. I wonder why. They are so pretty to watch.

Nice juncos!

I bet the ones in W.V. are missing me. They don't use the feeders, but they sure like checking out to see what fell on the ground below them.
