I only have a few house plants,
just enough for constant indoor color
and just enough to bring me constant joy.
and just enough to bring me constant joy.
Here it is, a small sunny spot in the family room.
Four plants, on a yummy wooden tray,
that sits on top of an ottoman, making the ottoman a table.
Don't ask.

The Orchid is my favorite,
I just adore how it shimmers and glistens in the sunlight.

I have 5 blooms right now, with lot's more coming!
I don't remember what bulbs I planted in this,
it will be a super fun surprise in the Spring to see what pops out.
I'll keep you posted.

with it's very pretty heart shaped leaves.
I don't know what this is...
A gift from my mom, that was not identified.
I adore these gorgeous sunny yellow blooms.
I just can't walk by this baby, without smiling.

Very pretty! I can't get over that orchid.
My best sunny spot for plants is in the family room, which is currently being torn apart because of hurricane damage. I can't wait until it's finished. I plan on putting my African violet garden in there.
Spring on a tray! Lovely blooms.
really pretty corner. i like the ladybug container, too. :)
That's a beautiful little spot you have! Cute ladybug on the handle!

Gorgeous!!! And I had to smile, my ottoman has a tray on it too. It makes for a great table, and extra seating when you need it. A lovely corner of your room shown in this pretty photo, and now I think I will take a leaf out of your book and put some colorful plants on it. Thanks for that idea :)
I couldn't keep a cyclamen alive if my life depended on it! I love the corner for your plants, but what I want to know is how do you know the tray is yummy? :)
Very pretty. I bet that is a nice spot to sit and dream. Much warmer than being outside. :)
A lovely spot for your beautiful, healthy plants. I love the yellow blooms, too--they are so happy looking! And the orchid is stunning.
