My youngest, Cort, would be in there fighting the birds to get those peanuts ;-)
LOVE these shots! I have a very hard time getting a decent photo of cardinals and bluejays - believe it or not, bluejays around here are very shy. I like them a lot and think they get a bad rap sometimes. :)Have a great day, Debbie!-Marissa
Love those Cardinals =)
My Dad has always told me that the early bird gets the worm, or in this case the peanut! Love these!
Interesting pictures. You treat your birds really well. Out here they have to shell their own peanuts. LOL
I've never fed peanuts, but they do seem to love them! I think the squirrels here would wipe them out too fast. Beautiful shots, Debbie!
I love the shot of Mr. C, with the sun shining!!!
Silly ole birds. My cat caught a mockingbird yesterday and ran in the house. I picked her up while she growled like a wild cat at me. I took her to the door and when I did she let go and that lucky Mocker flew away. I was so glad. :)
The squirrels often get to the nuts before the birds in my yard! Great shots Debbie.
They know you love them and are going to give them peanuts....Their posing is just a way of saying thank you...
you snooze, you lose!

Gorgeous shots, Debbie! I need to clean my windows so I can get some better shots...LOL! Mine haven't been viewer-friendly lately!
Beautiful photos! Mr. Cardinal has been hanging around my house, but I never have my camera ready for him!

Regal and red! LOVE!
Oh, the blue jays just sorta know when the peanuts are out, don't they?Such pretty photos. I had a cedar waxwing at our pond this weekend--of course I didn't have the camera handy. Ugh.
Such wonderful colors! I needed that after another snowfilled day.
So true -- the blue jays raid the peanuts before anyone else gets a chance. :)
I just love your feathered friends, Debbie, and the wonderful stories that go with them.I wish you a fantastic day!
Just lovely pictures of birds! Just tonight we watched a PBS special on Crows. It was fascinating. I must learn to use our camera more. You are inspiring. Blessings!
