Our Smithville Adventure

On March 30, 2012, we day tripped to Historic Smithville, New Jersey,
a great place to visit in Southern New Jersey.

I have had so much to write about since then,
I never got around to sharing this amazing trip with you guys.

It's loaded with unique shops, really good restaurants,
cobblestone paths, (this one happen to be brick)
lot's of history and charm.

It was a gorgeous day, warm and sunny,
there are lot's of unique things to see here in this village like town.

The Smithville Railroad Co.

With a cute little train for the kiddos.

The shops...

Crafting Cellar

We did not go in but it was a cute place, for young adults.

If you happen to love cheese as I  do,
this is the place for you!!

If you love to cook, me not so much.

I have 32 pictures of the Bumble Bee Bake Shop,

lucky for you, I will only share these two.
The decor was all about bumble bees.

We ate here, at The Smithville Inn.
This sign is made entirely of sand, that's how we do it in Jersey!

I forgot to take pictures of the food but it was amazing.

If you are ever in the area, make sure you stop here.
You won't be disappointed!!

You have the most amazing little areas to visit near you. I would have had a difficult deciding which place to spend the most time the bakery or the bookshop. I know you posted the picture of the bookshop just for me:) Hugs! Bonnie

My kind of day, my kind of place!! The bumblebee bake shop - ummmm, my daughter's name (Melissa) means honey bee, so we are slightly obsessed with bee doo dads etc. I will have to visit!!

Hi there - looks like a nice place to explore.

Nice reaction to my post - of course I was getting a bit frustrated, because somebody else was sneaking up on my birds!!!

I think we can get ahead of ourselves more rapidly than we think!
