New Ramblings

Everything Chopped Salad
This is my "kind of new" favorite salad.
It comes from Home Chef, all of the contents are in one bag and I have been enjoying it for a while.
The bag holds 2 portions, the hubs and I share it...
Chopped salad, everything ranch dressing, everything but the bagel seasoning, and tiny bagel croutons.
The only thing I added are the crunchy onions.

While we were without a sink, we went out for this yummy food at
Sweet potato roll, shrimp tempura and chicken lettuce wraps,
it was delicious!

My orchid is busting out with flowers now, bringing the total to, I can't count that high. lol

Has anyone tried these

This small envelope holds enough sheets to wash 60 loads of laundry.
They can be cut if you wash a half or quarter load which is convenient when you are doing laundry
for just two people.
I have been using them, they work great, they are good for the environment,
and there is no big plastic jug filling up the landfill.

The new sink is in and done and it looks amazing, I am so happy with it.

We got snow on Tuesday, a big "Nor'easter"

This is what it looked like all day and not one flake stuck to the grass or road!
It was so pretty to look at but what a disappointment that we did not get more or any accumulation.

On a very somber note, whales continue to wash ashore here in New Jersey,

Clean clean white white shiny shiny pretty new sink! Love it and glad it's in! The salad looks amazing-- I haven't made a good big salad in a long time

I love shrimp tempura! The salad is quick to make and looks good.
I have never tried to do the washing with detergent but I will try, I saw some in the shops. I have also a white think and black tap. We also had a whale who died in the river Seine and Beluga.

Debbie, do they know what the whales are dying from?

So sad to see the whale. They are not long for this planet I fear.

Asian fusion sounds delicious! So sad about the whales. I sure hope they figure out what is going on before any more wash up.

The meals you share from Home Chef look wonderful, this salad would suit me very nicely, and your other dining-out meals too. Yum! That’s a gorgeous orchid. I have been using those Earth Breeze laundry sheets for several months now and I wouldn’t go back to my regular old laundry detergent. I think they are great too. I can see why you are happy with your new sink. It looks splendid. Sorry you didn’t get the snow you were hoping for but what you had looks very pretty. It was very sad to read about the whales. I wonder why they are beaching.

Hello,
The salad and dinner look delicious. I have not tried the laundry sheets, it is good they are good for the environment. Your new sink looks great. That is so sad that so many whales are dying, something terrible must be happening.
Take care, have a happy weekend.

The salad looks good but I am not a real big fan of Asian food.
Your flowers are gorgeous!
I am glad you mentioned those laundry sheets, I have seen them advertised but had not heard how anyone was liking them.
Bet your happy to have that pretty sink done, looks great!
Nice you were able to enjoy the snow even if it didn't stick, I see the U.P. of Michigan is getting even more.
That makes me so sad about the whales, wish they could do something.
