The Crepe Myrtle Ride

We finally took our Crepe Myrtle drive around this area.
When the Crepe Myrtle bloom here,
the trees are filled with large, dramatic, colorful flowers.
Crepe Myrtle are shrubs or small trees that grow at a fast rate,
with height increases of more than two feet per year.

We drove around, stopped and photographed every tree,
and there "may" have been some "trespassing"
involved in the taking of these pictures...
but I'll never tell...

Too many? I know...I can't help myself!

I could not help but photograph this sweet, colorful little garden.

We have quite a few Crepe Myrtle in our neighbourhood too and a huge one in our front garden. They do look gorgeous and your photos are beautiful!

Thanks for guiding us on your special tour. I didn't know they came in bright pink color too, I thought they were just in light purple. (Glad you didn't get arrested if you trespassed.) Linda in Kansas

We have seen those around here and wondered what kind of tree/bush they were. That last picture of that garden is gorgeous!

Hi Debbie, WOW! What beautiful flowers and images. The Crepe Myrtle tree is stunning, and also the garden image, with all the different groups of flowers and green bushes.
