Saturday's Critters #453

I am lucky to have a lot of awesome little critters right here in my own backyard.

These Black Swallowtails were raised by me.
They went from egg, to caterpillar to butterfly during this season.
The above butterfly is a boy...

these next 2 are girls.
I have released 7 butterflies so far this season with many more to come.

I am seeing so many Monarchs this summer.

I see a lot of Bees on my Butterfly Bush...

and I have several Baby Birds
that have left the nest and are learning to fly.

Sharing today's images with Eileen at

Oh my...those baby birds are SO cute! They just look like they need to go back to the nest for awhile and not get out in this wild world! lol Love the butterflies. You are amazing my friend!

what sweet little baby birds. So young, no knowledge of the dangers ahead. Hope their lives are good ones.

Debbie - how proud you must be to see your "babies" fly away! Thanks for performing this very important assist for our ecosystems! Enjoy your weekend!

It is good to hear that you are seeing Monarchs. Around here they are not that plentiful.

All these photos are spectacular. I love the baby birds. I think it is so fun to see how birds raise their young. For some reason, we haven't had any in our trees for the last couple of years. As always, your butterfly photos are lovely.
How I love your nature shots!
Sending hugs!
