Grease On The Beach

We went to see Grease on the beach at Jenkinsons in Point Pleasant Beach.
Movies on the beach are staples at the shore, most towns host them.
Neither the hubs nor I had ever seen Grease...
the movie was great but I was a little disappointed with all of the bullying portrayed in the movie.
I was also glad I did not have a young child with me, this movie was definitely not for kids.

It was super fun to see John Travolta in his younger years, and to watch him dance.
Olivia Newton John was so innocent,
youthful and beautiful, this was the perfect movie to see after her recent passing.
The beach was packed with people,
the movies were cancelled the last 2 summers, it was great to be back on the beach at night.

 - I got chills, they're multiplyin',
           and I'm losing control...cause the power you're supplin', it's electrifyin -

I would love to see this at the drive in! The music is the best and I'm a big John T. fan!

Olivia’s music is on the charts again too. Great to see another generation enjoying it!

Okay, I've never seen the movie either. I first worried that your headline was referring to crude oil that moved on to your beach..... Linda in Kansas

Oh wow that is something you never saw it, I even had the album, I use to know all the songs by heart, not sure if I do anymore though :). Glad they were able to bring back the movies to the beach.

I must say, I have only seen bits of Grease. I would like to watch the whole thing sometime. I think doing an outdoor movie is so fun. When we were younger, we used to go to drive-in movies. There aren't very many of them left around here. That era is disappearing. I feel so sad about that.
Thanks for sharing this fun moment.
Blessings and hugs!
