Beautiful Night Skies

The night skies have been so pretty...
Sitting indoors you would miss them, they were brief and after the rain.
We sat outdoors for the storm, under the canopy,
the sound of the rain hitting the awning was as delightful as the smell of the rain.
The company, even better.
My sister was visiting from Pennsylvania,
she stayed with us and it was wonderful to spend so much time with her.

This was the full moon rise on Wednesday evening as seen from
the pool area of my backyard.
It looked so much better than this!

- every sunset is also a sunrise, it all depends on where you stand -

Hello Debbie,:=) Fabulous sky images. The sky looks on fire, in the ones taken in front of your house. How nice to cool off, listening to the sound of the rain undercover. We could do with some rain here, as my garden is suffering for the lack of it, and there is a leak in a pipe that is the main source of water to water the garden, so there is not even a trickle. it's 40 degrees here, and the heat is unbearable.

I'm happy for you that your sister is staying with you. Enjoy your time together.
All the best.

Your pics are wonderful, Debbie. Enjoyed them immensely. We could definitely use some rain here. It's been triple digits most of the week... although today and tomorrow we may stay in the 90's (slight break) and then back to triple digits all next week. Hopefully the Texas Grid will handle it.

Wow you did have some awesome sunsets, we got up to 100 today without the heat index have no idea what it felt like so we haven't been enjoying to many sunsets. So glad to hear you had a great visit with your sister!
