Yarn Along

My crocheting and crafting have been all over the place this past week.
While Mike was here, I didn't do too much crafting, two things at the same time,
visiting, talking and crocheting, well, that is how I make mistakes.

I am still working on the
Infinity Scarf with the Alpine Stitch

This is crocheted with hand dyed 100% Baby Alpaca Yarn,
the color is called Beach Treasures.
I love the little flecks of random colors appear, you can see them here.
blue, yellow burgundy...
My edges are not clean and straight, but I am trying not to worry about it,
I do think part of it is the soft quality of the yarn.
I wish you could feel this, I have not worked with alpaca yarn in a while,
it is so soft and scrumptious.

I finished one more snowman needle punch ornament.
It needs to be mounted on the wood ornament to the left.

And I started this embroidery piece, I only finished up a little.
I really love the colors, and in a night or two it could be finished up!!

So there's my hop, skip and a jump all over crafting.
Now that my Christmas decorating is done, my Christmas Cards are in the works,
and most of my shopping is done, I can focus on my craft projects.

Your crochet and other crafting is beautiful, Debbie. I could never do the embroidery... too tedious. But I love the work. I have several cross-stitched pieces done by my daughter-in-law and another large piece done by a friend hanging in my house.

Your scarf is looking pretty, I like the yarn color. I can imagine the alpaca yarn being very soft. The ornaments are cute. Take care, have a happy day!

I do love the color variation in your scarf, wow you really are knocking out those punch needle ornaments and your embroidery sure is gorgeous, love how the colors just pop off the black base!

Debbie - I definitely find that some projects are too difficult to do while talking! I have learned time and again I am not good at counting and talking simultaneously! Lovely projects ...
