Lazy Days Of Summer

Life is a little "s l o w"...
I am ok with slow, I like slow in fact...
but I am once again looking for something exciting to share here.
I looked over the Bucket List, but I'm not sure that is going to help us out.

I released a butterfly on Tuesday, no pictures, she took off with determination.

I ordered some cards on Etsy,

aren't they beautiful!

They are reusable and I thought that was such an awesome idea.

If you are interested in purchasing any of her beautiful cards,
her Esty store can be found here.

I finally finished up my "Rhinebeck Wall".
Souvenirs from my last trip to the Rhinebeck Sheep & Wool Festival.
The festival has been cancelled for this October and I can hardly talk about it without crying.
It is such a fun weekend with my fiber friends and I will miss it dearly.

I got my nails done.
I also got my hair colored and cut and a pedicure.
I did not have an appointment for a pedicure, but someone didn't show up,
so I slid right in to their appointment.

I ordered this table and chairs on Amazon for the deck.
Our big set is out by the pool and I wanted something small for up on the deck.
This is perfect...and can you tell I am an on-line shopper?
I am not a big fan of stores.

The deck garden is doing very well.

I have so many tomatoes and cucumbers coming.

I have 6 caterpillars in the house, in their netted cage.
They are teeny, tiny almost impossible to see.

This will be their home for the next few weeks.

This was another delicious Home Chef meal.
Sausage, peppers, onion, spinach and garlic on top of risotto.
I was not up for making the risotto, so I substituted it with regular rice.
It was delicious!

Well there you have it, another day in the books!

Hello,

The cards are so pretty, it is a great idea to be able to re-use them. The deck garden looks great, you will have a big harvest. Your new table looks nice, I have been ordering some things from online stores too. The meal looks delicious, I could try making that recipe with sausage, peppers, garlic and onions. Take care, Enjoy your 4th of July weekend!

Debbie, Your nails are awesome. I love them. I am happy your butterfly knew where she wanted to go. :) A hug for you helping her. Your garden is doing great. I like that little table and chairs. Wish I had more trust to shop on line. I am so old school. Blessings, xoxo, Susie

The re-usables cards are a brilliant idea. You are brave, I still won't go to the hair salon.

Covid has cancelled so much this year. It is sad indeed.

Cute cards, our group has this little saying that can go inside to let people know they can reuse the cards we make, but I have yet to do it, I am thinking of using removable tape when putting in the sentiment but I like how this has a piece that you can take out and add another without glue or tape.
I am sorry they have cancelled the festival already, must be they don't think things will be better by then. We have decided not to go home to our family reunion the end of this month, there are 60 of us and half of them are going on vacation just before so you just don't know who they have been in contact with.
Wow your plants are really doing terrific, pretty soon you won't be able to tell there is a deck under there.

What a lovely visit! Your pool looks so inviting....as does your deck garden.
Texas is not safe with Covid raging and I am wishing I had a shorter hair cut last time becaause I need another one now.
I'm thinking I may as well bite the bullet and let it grow until I can pull it back.
Glad you shop online.....I am doing more of that too.

Another good meal, I see. It looks delicious. I think your deck is lovely and your garden doing well. Our garden is small but doing good too. I got some radishes today from it.
The cards are awesome and I will look into them. I love these kinds of thing.
I like you new furniture too. I like on line shopping the best too.
I'm sad you can't have your trip this year. I hate how Covid is spoiling so many things. I hope we are learning good lessons from it all.
I love your nails. I finally got a haircut. It was getting way long.
Blessings hugs for you!
